Julia and I have now succeeded in making our room homey! She's got beach towels and a bed light and colourful pillows, and I've got green leafy fabric draped all around my bed and piles of books on the windowsill. We also have figured out that we have the handicapped room, seeing as we have a really big bathroom (which all my crap is drying in because my aloe vera burst. -.-) and shower!

And I'm jealous. Apparently at Julia's school they performed Phantom of the Opera (the orchestra did the instrumentals and the choir sang)

Mom's -- dark wood with a rose carved in the headboard and a velvet gold and red paisley comforter. Dad's -- dark wood four poster with lacy white comforter and velvety green blanket.
